About the event
"Letters from Farmville" allows me to explore deeply my own African American heritage and how the generational occupation of farming and its influence on our love of gardening as a family has prevailed. Family letters dating back as far back as emancipatiion have served to inspiremy creation of prints, drawings, and paintings highlighted in this exhibition. On exhibition openning January 21 through March 13th 2023
