The painting Kumasi Walking Rhythms I continues the expression of the energies and harmonies I felt while studying in Kumasi Ghana. Like the first composition, I focused on the idea of poly-rhythms and improvisation something that I could explore through the way in which people moved through the crowded streets. Poly centrism, multiple representations of time in a composition, was inspired by angles I saw in people, buildings, as I worked.
